Neighbor Rating Method

Potential Neighbor Rating

For each election, i:

Vi = Number of votes received

Pi = percentage of vote received

Ti = percentage of voter turnout

n = Total number of elections for which the individual has stood.

M = Number of years experience in Mass Media or Education.

Neighbor Potential = M + log [ ∑{i = 1 to n} ( ViPi × Ti ) ] / 100

Actual Neighbor Rating

A = Percentage of votes defending particular rights enumerated in the the 1st amendment, including the freedom of the press, the freedom of speech, and the freedom of assembly.

C = percentage of personal income given to charity
[Not yet included: Assumed to be zero until discovered otherwise. ]

Neighbor Actual = [(10×C)+A]/2 × Neighbor Potential Rating
