Family Rating Method

Potential Family Rating

M = number of marriages
D = Number of divorces or affairs
C = number of natural children
A = number of adopted children
G = number of grandchildren
GG = number of great-grandchildren

Family Potential = Marriage Rating + Child Rating
where
Marriage Rating = (M-D+1)
Child Rating = [1+(C+1.5×A)/(D+1) + 1/2×G + 1/4×GG]

Actual Family Rating

T = percentage of votes defending traditional marriage [Not included yet, all candidates assumed 100%]
L = Percentage of votes defending the rights of the unborn (Source: National Right to Life)

Family Actual = T × Marriage Rating + L × Child Rating
